After Sachin Tendulkar, his teammate in India Legends in the recently concluded World Road World Series, Yusuf Patan also proved positive for COVID-19. Yusuf turned to Twitter to reveal that he had tested positive for mild symptoms.
“Today I have a positive test for COVID-19 with mild symptoms. After confirmation I was quarantined at home and took all necessary precautions and necessary medicines. I would ask those who came in contact with me to be tested at the earliest he tweeted.
Earlier in the day, Indian cotton legend Sachin took to Twitter to confirm the news of his COVID-19 test and that he was currently in home isolation. He added that all other members of his family had a negative test.
“I tested myself and took all the recommended precautions to ensure that COVID was not maintained. However, today I have a positive test after mild symptoms,” the 47-year-old wrote in his Twitter post.
“Everyone else at home was tested negative. I quarantined at home and followed all the necessary protocols as recommended by my doctors. Both Sachin and Yusuf were part of the first World Safety World Series tournament, where the former led the Indian Legends to victory in the title.
