Afghanistan beat Zimbabwe six wickets in the second Sheikh Zayed Stadium test here on Sunday to level the series at 1-1.
In a match that came down to the last session of Day 5, Rahmat Shah’s 58 and his 81-fold stand with opening Ibrahim Zadran (29) helped Afghanistan pursue the 108 goal.
While they lost opener Javed Ahmadi at the start of the inning, Rahmat Shah and Ibrahim Zadran were able to ensure that Afghanistan shaved 54 who escaped the target in the second session.
Rashid Khan ended the inning in Zimbabwe with seven tapes earlier after undefeated 151 captain Sean Williams helped them set a 108 goal for Afghanistan.
Thus, the series ended 1-1 after Zimbabwe won the first test with 10 straps. The two teams now face each other in a three-match T20I series on Wednesday.
