Ravindra Jadeja was in a sublime touch with the bat on Sunday when he killed Harshall Patel for 36 runs in the match between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore at Wankhede.
Judea, who broke 62 of 28 balls, started the 20th with a bowl from Harshall with several highs and a non-ball that went for six. It was raining six in Mumbai when Jadea hit another six in the next delivery, making four out of four and reaching his fifties in style.
In the last two deliveries, Jadea completed her whirlwind of six and four to give Harshall the worst of all time in IPL history (37 tracks). It was also the most expensive 20th in the history of the tournament.
MS Dhoni, at the end of the non-attacker, had the best place in the house. Jadea organized a partnership of 49 runs and 17 balls for the fifth gate with Dhoni, who contributed only two runs in it.
Judea, who was eliminated at 0, also became the third player after Chris Gale and Rahul Tewatia to hit 5 sixes in over in the IPL. Universal CSK was released to zero by Dan Christian of Washington Sundar on the 15th.
Although Harshall (3/51) was the most successful bowler for RCB, he added an embarrassing record to his name. On the back of the Jade blitzkrieg, CSK finished 191/4 in its 20 overs. Earlier opening CSK Ruturaj Gaikwad and Faf du Plessis set an initial partnership of 74 in the first 10 overs.
